Archaeological Museum Stavros

Archaeological Collection of Stavros Ithakis – It houses findings from northern Ithaca dating from the Proto-Helladic to the Roman period. The i ostrako_euxhn_odycceibuilding was built in 1933. Most of the excavations took place at the Loizos Cave and in Pelikala by the English School of Archeology in Athens. Here you will see the shell with the inscription “EYKIN ODYSSEI” and parts of large bronze tripods from the Loizos Cave.
